These Terms of Use govern your access to Payvoice — a web service for creating invoices, acceptance acts, timesheets and reports, sharing them by link or QR code, and tracking their payment status (the “Service”). By creating an account you accept these Terms in full.
Art. 1 · Who may use the Service
The Service is intended for freelancers, self-employed professionals, creators and small teams who issue documents to their own clients.
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and be at least 18 years old.
One account belongs to one person or one organisation. You are responsible for every action performed under your credentials.
Art. 2 · Your account
You sign in with an email address and password, or through Google. Keep your credentials confidential and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
You are responsible for keeping your company details, logo and payment instructions in your profile accurate — they are printed on the documents you generate.
You may delete your account at any time from the settings screen. Deletion removes your documents and client records from the Service.
Art. 3 · Subscription and payment
Access to paid features is sold as a subscription for a fixed term — 1, 6 or 12 months. Current prices and the contents of each plan are published on the pricing section of the website.
A trial period may be offered to new accounts. Unless cancelled before it ends, the selected plan is charged automatically at the published price.
Cancellation and refunds are described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We may change prices for future terms. Existing paid terms are never re-priced retroactively; you are notified at least 30 days before a renewal at a new price.
Art. 4 · What you create belongs to you
All content you enter — company details, logo, client data, line items, notes — remains yours. The PDF documents you generate are yours to use, store and send without restriction.
You grant us a limited technical licence to store, render and transmit that content solely to operate the Service for you (for example, to build a PDF or serve a public invoice page you have shared).
The Service itself — its code, design, document templates and brand — belongs to us. You may use the templates to issue your own documents, but you may not resell, copy or redistribute the templates or the Service as a competing product.
Art. 5 · Public invoice links
Each document can be published at a unique, unguessable link. Anyone holding that link can view and download the document — that is its purpose.
You decide whom to send the link to and you are responsible for the consequences of sharing it. You can stop sharing a document at any time from the invoice screen.
Art. 6 · Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- issue documents for goods or services that were not agreed with the recipient, or to demand payment fraudulently;
- impersonate another person, company or tax identity;
- upload malware, attempt to break authentication, scrape data at scale, or probe our infrastructure;
- send unsolicited bulk email through the Service;
- break the law applicable to you or to your client.
We may suspend an account that materially breaches this section, with notice where circumstances allow.
Art. 7 · No tax, legal or accounting advice
Payvoice is a document tool, not an adviser. Templates, wording, field labels and bilingual layouts are provided for convenience only.
You alone decide whether a document meets the invoicing, tax, VAT and bookkeeping requirements that apply to you and to your client, and you alone are responsible for the accuracy of the figures.
Art. 8 · Availability
We aim for continuous availability but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, provider incidents and force majeure can cause downtime.
We may change or retire individual features. If a change materially reduces what you paid for, you may cancel and request a refund under the Refund Policy.
Art. 9 · Liability
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profit, lost clients, missed deadlines, unpaid invoices, or indirect and consequential damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the event.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Art. 10 · Data and privacy
How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Policy; cookies and similar technologies in the Cookie Policy.
Art. 11 · Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version is always published on this page. Material changes are announced by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new version.
Art. 12 · Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate an account for a serious breach of Art. 6, for non-payment, or if we discontinue the Service — in which case unused paid time is refunded pro rata.
