This Policy explains how Payvoice uses cookies and similar browser storage — localStorage, sessionStorage and IndexedDB. It complements the Privacy Policy.
C 1 · What these technologies are
A cookie is a small text file your browser stores for a website. localStorage and sessionStorage keep small values in the browser without sending them with every request. We treat all of them the same way in this Policy.
C 2 · What we use
Strictly necessary
Keep you signed in, protect the session against forgery, and remember which account you are working in. Without them authentication and the whole workspace stop working, so they cannot be switched off while you use the app.
Preferences
Remember your interface language (EN / ES / RU), the invoice template you last picked and small layout choices, so you don't reconfigure them on every visit.
Diagnostics
Aggregated counters and error traces that tell us a screen failed to load. They are not tied to your name and are not used for profiling.
Advertising
We use no advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not embed third-party ad pixels.
C 3 · Public invoice pages
The public page of a shared document does not require cookies to be read. Opening it records a “viewed” event on the server so you know your client received it — this is not linked to any browsing profile of your client.
C 4 · Third parties
If you sign in with Google, Google may set its own cookies during the OAuth flow. The payment provider may set cookies at checkout. Those cookies are governed by the policies of the respective provider.
C 5 · How long they last
Session cookies disappear when you close the browser. Sign-in and preference values persist until they expire or until you clear them — typically weeks to months.
C 6 · Managing them
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and clear localStorage from the browser's developer tools. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will sign you out and break invoice creation. Signing out of Payvoice clears the session values we control.
C 7 · Changes
We update this Policy when the set of technologies changes.
