Lead with their problem
The first paragraph should sound like it was written for one specific person. Restate their situation in your own words — this alone beats 80 % of proposals.
One page, three sections
What we'll do. What you'll get. What it costs. Anything more than that is filler and slows the yes.
Show the outcome, not the process
Clients don't buy 'a 10-step process'. They buy the result — more customers, a cleaner brand, less admin. Describe the after, not the how.
Give a deadline
'This proposal is valid for 7 days' is not aggressive — it's respectful of both sides. Deadlines make people decide.
